For a Singapore mall roadshow or corporate event, the activations that move the most people are short-round motion games such as Power Punch AR (30-second rounds) and Catch Master (30–45 seconds), because the queue never stalls. For a crowd magnet with no queue at all, choose a Motion Canvas or rotoscope wall. If you need names and emails, choose an AI photo booth. NXT Interactive designs and runs all eight options below.
NXT Interactive is a Singapore-headquartered creative technology studio, with teams in the UAE, Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Australia, that designs and runs AI photobooths, AR/VR, gesture games and interactive installations for brands, agencies and government bodies.
The 8 options side by side
Activation | How guests play | Play time | Best for | Where your brand shows |
Power Punch AR | Punch and block incoming AR orbs; no controllers or wearables | ~30 s | Mall atriums, sports and wellness brands, family days | Orb design, colours, leaderboard, end screen |
Catch Master | Move a real product left and right to catch falling items | 30–45 s | FMCG sampling, beverage, snack and beauty launches | The guest is holding your product |
Scream Machine | Shout or cheer to push the score up | Short rounds | Festivals, stage moments, team events | Energy meter, visuals, leaderboard |
Motion Canvas | Any movement paints live generative art | Continuous | Exhibitions, galleries, multi-week mall campaigns | Brand palette and logo-shaped particles |
Interactive rotoscope wall | Your silhouette becomes animated line art | Continuous | Launches, sneaker drops, youth brands | Brand visuals inside the motion trail |
AI photo booth | AI places the guest in a new scene or character | Seconds per image | Corporate events, conferences, lead capture | Branded image plus attendee sign-in |
AI Emcee | A virtual host on LED or avatar, in several languages | Whole event | Conferences, government showcases | Branded host avatar |
Touch table or quiz station | Explore content or answer questions by touch | Self-paced | Exhibitions, museums, product education | Content modules and questions |
A quick way to size throughput
A 30-second round caps one station at 120 plays an hour. Allow about 15 seconds to swap players and a realistic figure is closer to 80 an hour, or roughly 640 over an 8-hour mall day. Continuous walls have no cap because anyone walking past is already taking part.
Pick in three questions
1. Do you need names and emails? Choose the AI photo booth, or add a sign-in screen to any game.
2. Is the space a queue zone or a walk-past zone? Queue zones suit short-round games. Walk-past corridors suit Motion Canvas or a rotoscope wall.
3. Is there a product to put in people's hands? Then Catch Master, because the product becomes the controller.
