Overview

This project aims to transform the traditional salon visit into an interactive and personalized experience using cutting-edge touchscreen and augmented reality technologies. The objective is to enhance customer engagement while promoting the salon's range of services and products in a fun, digital-first manner.

Challenge

Salons often rely on manual consultations, which may not fully capture a customer's preferences, personality, or appearance. There is a growing demand for personalized experiences that are quick, engaging, and visually driven—especially for younger, tech-savvy audiences. Salons also need tools that help boost product discovery and service conversion at the point of experience.

Solution

We designed a suite of four interactive modules that blend AI, AR, and facial recognition technology. These modules guide the customer through a digital journey that matches their mood, face structure, and personal preferences to the most suitable hairstyle and product recommendations.

Each experience is designed to be intuitive, shareable, and quick to engage with, and can be deployed in-store or at promotional events.

Style Personality Quiz Kiosk

An interactive touchscreen quiz that helps customers discover their “Hair Style Persona” through a series of lifestyle and personality-based questions.

The Experience

The entire solution is designed for a plug-and-play experience within the salon. Each module is touchscreen-friendly, easy to navigate, and encourages customers to explore hairstyles in an engaging way. These activations can be integrated seamlessly into waiting areas, consultation zones, or promotional kiosks at beauty expos and malls.
